It all started in 1914 when a Pre Cursor to a fashion show took place. Vouge's American editor-in-chief Edna saw the show and because of the time saw that fashion could stand still because of war and if no fashion was coming out from designers to sell then nothing was filling the pages of Vouge. She even convinced high class women to come and taught models how to walk down the runway and work the camera.
